Sara Lynn Tennant

CUSTER PARK--Sara Lynn Tennant, 19, of Custer Park, IL, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at her home.
Sara was born April 10, 1983 in Joliet, IL. She was a graduate of Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, IL where she was a member of the volleyball team and played Club volleyball. She was employed at the Tennant Insurance Agencies in Wilmington and Buckley, IL. Sara was currently attending Joliet Junior College in the Vet Tech program. She raised and showed miniature horses, winning numerous awards including national competitions.
     Surviving are her mother, Debra (nee Sorensen) of rural Wilmington; paternal grandparents, Harold and Margo Tennant Sr. of Bonfield, IL; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Alice Sorensen of rural Wilmington; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
   She was preceded in death by her father, Harold E. Tennant Jr.; and brother, Eric Harry Tennant.
        Cremation rites were accorded. Visitation was Tuesday, June 4, from 5 to 7 p.m., at R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel. A memorial service followed. Richard Rasmussen and Joel Reynolds officiated. Interment was private.

Brian Edwin Bormet

BRAIDWOOD-Brian Edwin Bormet, age 22, of Braidwood, IL, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, in Godley, IL.
     Brian was born Feb. 13, 1983 in Joliet, IL. He was a graduate of Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, class of 2001. He was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed baseball, softball and football.
     Surviving are his father, Joseph E. Bormet of Braidwood; his mother and step-father, Kimberly A. (nee Hansen) and Tim Mitchell of Braidwood; special friend, Shelly Probus of Godley; two brothers and two sisters, Brandon Bormet, Tim Mitchell Jr., Breanne Bormet and Khrista Mitchell all of Braidwood; grandparents, Herman and Joan Bormet of Braidwood, Faye Hansen of Wilmington, IL and Rebecca Mitchell of Braidwood; great-grandmother, Josephine Friddle of Wilmington; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including two special nephews, Timothy "Bubby" Welker Jr. and Dylan Welker.
     Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Ellsworth Hansen and John Mitchell; and great-grandfather, Melvin Friddle.
        Funeral services were at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel, Thursday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. Interment was in Bohemian National Cemetery in Braidwood, IL. The visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m.
